“You can’t have your cake and eat it too.”

I heard this saying way back in the early grades of school and always saw it as some sort of riddle that I knew had to have a solution. The only way to have your cake and eat it is to clone your cake and eat the clone while keeping the original in the fridge.

What Do Respect, Honesty and Transparency Have to Do With Food?

farm-animal-cookies

What kind of restaurant would list “respect, honesty and transparency” as key values on their website?

The kind of restaurant I would want to invest in, it turns out.

I just love serendipity (the effect, not the movie that my wife made me watch recently). Even better, I love serendipity when it happens at the intersection of multiple things I hold dear.

In worse case scenarios, they will even land in your yard, chug sugar water and proceed to body snatch a member of your family, friend or significant other, straight up Men In Black style.

Be afraid, be very afraid.
