You might have noticed I’ve been posting somewhat infrequently here lately. At least that’s what a couple of blogging friends have pointed out recently.

Things are going well with the course, but maintaining trying to maintain two blogs (this one and Think Traffic) while working on a comprehensive course on affiliate marketing is somewhat insane. Everyone seems interested in how to make money online, but the lack of straight forward and *sustainable* info is shocking. I have a feeling you will clear through the clutter and give people really valuable insights.

Hi Janis, I first became aware of affiliate marketing back about 3 or 4 years ago (as “referral” programs). I didn’t actually start to look into it much or use it as a revenue model until I was talking to Chris Brogan for my “New Economy Superstars” book.
He mentioned affiliate marketing as a great way for individual entrepreneurs to start making money online, and he also mentioned that affiliate marketing was a $13 billion industry. That really got my attention! That was just less than a year ago.
Anyway, maybe I’ll write a post about that here shortly. Thanks for asking.
